WE ARE THE MOST SUSTAINABLE AIRPORT IN THE COUNTRY
Green operation and transparent management
ESG is more than an acronym in planning, it is a strategic pillar for BH Airport. Environmental, social and governance practices are part of our culture, integrating processes and the routine of the entire team. With pioneering spirit, we plan, build a collaborative ecosystem and find sustainable solutions to balance responsibility
environmental and social development with transparency in management and integrity in corporate governance. We are recognized by Anac as the most sustainable airport in Brazil and, since 2022, BH Airport has been a signatory to the UN Global Compact. Our innovative ESG practices include carbon neutralization, the use of renewable energy and efficient water and waste management.
ENVIRONMENTAL
Our sustainability journey is marked by achievements that reflect our commitment to the environment. We have been the most sustainable airport in Brazil for two consecutive years, according to Anac. Recognized as a Green Airport, we have received four consecutive certifications from the Airport Council International's Green Airport Recognition (ACI-LAC) for our social and environmental practices. In addition, we are the first and only carbon neutral airport in Brazil, with level 3+ certification from the Airport Carbon Accreditation program.

SOCIAL
We are socially responsible and have evolved over the years, aware of our importance as drivers of the state's growth and the economic sustainability of the local community. We are located between Confins and Lagoa Santa, in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte (39 km from the capital), and we have contributed to generating 7,000 skilled jobs. Our Minas Gerais way of being connected to people is what leads us to develop concrete actions of inclusive welcome and respect for diversity, as well as initiatives connected to the community, such as visitation and selective collection programs, the Run on the Track and donations for children.
