Tons of cargo, from all over Brazil and the world, pass through here year after year, heating up the engine that drives the economy and strengthening our Multimodal Logistics Hub as one of the most important global receiving, storage and distribution centers in the country.

OPERATIONAL DATA

We have the capacity to handle 70,000 tons of cargo a year in the 12,000 m² of customs area at BH Airport. Between imports and exports, the movement of cargo has reached around 260,000 tons of products in the last decade.

The length of time the goods remain in the warehouse - an average of just three days - means that the cargo is released more quickly, boosting the industry's competitiveness.

We have 11 positions for parking cargo aircraft, 3,131 m² of cold rooms in the Cargo Terminal, with customized setup from -20oC to -25oC, and thermal qualification, as well as 300 m² of dangerous cargo storage.

We are the first airport in Brazil to offer multimodal cargo operations. Our International Logistics Hub continues to expand connectivity with national and international markets, with a series of facilities that provide complete and sustainable solutions for receiving, storing and distributing cargo.

It is in BH Airport's 12,000 m² of bonded area that we receive, store and transport all kinds of cargo - from dry and domestic to dangerous and live. We are certified by Anvisa for Good Storage Practices in Life Sciences goods, demonstrating our efficiency and commitment to preserving and saving lives.

Our pioneering spirit has made us the only customs facility in Minas Gerais with 24-hour surveillance and the first airport in the country to develop an Industrial Logistics Condominium program, focused on attracting companies to the airport site.

With a personalized and innovative business model, we have also become the first airport in Brazil to offer the airport industrial warehouse service, aimed at exporting companies that can count on the benefits of tax exemption.

For companies that carry out their own stock management, in the import mode, and can still count on our structure and the service of the Cargo Terminal, as a common customs warehouse, BH Airport offers the Advanced Stock option.
