Concession

BH Airport was born with a major challenge: fully and efficiently meeting the growing demand of passengers across the country. In November 2013, the federal government held the auction for the concession of Belo Horizonte International Airport for a period of 30 years. The consortium integrated by the CCR group and Zürich airport was the winner by submitting the best bid with a 66% premium over the minimum established.

The BH Airport modernization, expansion and maintenance project foresees considerable investments for the 30 years of the concession. BH Airport has the expertise of its shareholders to transform the Airport into a truly "airport city" that is truly ready for the world.

By offering more comfort, safety, and a host of facilities, BH Airport wants to ensure the best travel experience for its passengers through service excellence.

BH Airport believes that the concession instrument is essential to minimize the country's infrastructure bottlenecks and relies on the good results of the government-private partnership for economic and social development.
